This is the second pair from the theater.  Please view my last auction for the first pair, and bid with confidence!    This pair of 604Cs were originally in a pair of Altec 612 cabinets which were part of a large movie theatre system.     These speakers are working properly and in excellent condition with Perfect original Altec diaphragms.  The diaphragm caps had not been removed prior to my opening for pictures. These are a fine example of this legendary vintage speaker.   This pair is also date stamped December of '56.Note: One speaker has a VERY TINY tear on one of the cone ridges. I have done my best to picture this, but it is small. Please view the pictures. It is a VERY easy repair, but opinions on tear repair vary, so I will leave this to the buyer.   These speakers were outfitted with rarely seen Peerless/Altec 15065 line transformers along with their N-1600A crossovers. The transformers are used to reduce line losses for long distances from speakers to amplifier and to match impedance when more than one system is in use. The transformers and crossovers are included in this auction   The line transformers are 70v to 4/8/16 ohm, and 8/16/32 watts.   Shipping: The shipping calculator is only for one package (one speaker).
