Note: These items were all used legally on the 10 meter band as HAM Radio equipment! All equipment when bought new were sold for 10 meter operation only and if bought, be used as so. Listed in CB section of eBay because the Stalker WAS a CB now converted to ham use. Listed here for more coverage viewers & potential Ham buyers!    This set up I have had since getting started in Ham the early 90's but I never use them anymore for getting bigger rigs & going mostly Kenwood - Yaesu brand gear .   THE STALKER XX The Stalker XX is a export model made in 1979. It has the European AC plug with an American adapter. It has been modified to go on 10 meters or the 28 MHz band. Radio is for ham use or operators on the ten meter band. The Radio consists of AM-FM-SSB USB-LSB  27 - 28 meg The PA Feature has be taken out and replaced with channels UP and there is also a switch on the back for the same for more channels. Maybe more, been awhile since it was on a frequency counter The Clarifier "Slide" about 4-5 KC's up and down. FM is not listed on the front panel but move fully left and it is there. Comes without the microphone! I had a custom microphone made for this radio and it has my "Handle" etched into the back of it. It is hard to get rid of the rig as it is but the microphone is the only thing I want to keep. If you need a microphone, I can through in a Radio Shack Mobile Mic minus the end plug. Just ask about it. PLEASE DO NOT BOTHER WITH OFFERS ASKING JUST FOR $100 FOR THE SET, I WILL DECLINE ALL OFFERS THAT LOW FOR THERE IS NOT ONE UNIT LISTED HERE WORTH LOWER THAT THAT! THAT WOULD GET YOU JUST THE POWER CORDS MAYBE! I WILL NOT SEPERATE THE SET ALSO SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK. Noticeable things wrong with it that are a simple fix are: The channel selector needs cleaned! After sitting around for over 10 years not used that is a given! The needles in the Mod & SF meters are sticking, they are not broke just need taken apart and refitted back in the front of the radio! WINDJAMMER POWER MODULATOR The windjammer is what they call a "splatter box" for it takes your modulation and very much amplifies it! It has a tuning tool for matching in the front and red LED. lights to tell you when it is working in strength, has a new tube since the mid 90's that hardly has been played on. The Windjammer has AM switch and a SSB switch for single sideband & standby. In my whole HAM time I have never seen one of these boxes much less own one. When this jewel is on, and you have a great base antenna, you WILL be hard across all channels of the Band! Works great for skip talk just stand alone! You will be noticed! The cosmetic condition on it is almost MINT! Working Condition: 100% Blaster Mode! W. ELECTRONICS BLACK CAT JB-76B Ah yes the Back Cat, this I have had the longest in my radio stent in HAM! The Cat is been re-tubed and again you are very noticed when this thing is switched on! I have talked all over the world on this Cat with just 76 Watts! The Cat has wear on the case but all stickers are intact, inside the power box is clean and the main part is well taken care of! The contacts were cleaned regularly when I operated it due to dust. May need to be cleaned again for this rig has been stored for over 10 years! Working Condition: 100% Skip Talk Ready!   I got it all out to do a running of the items and YES, all work like when I put them up for storage when I moved to this house! Talked about 300 miles away to a fellow in IN the other night on 10 meters LSB with a K-40 Mobile magnet mount antenna just on the roof! You can see or imagine what it will talk on a base antenna! I used the rig 10 years ago on a PDL-II and I have to say, those were the best to talk on with this rig I thought! But you can use the rig on any good base antenna and you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!   This is a great rig and I hate to see it go and said I would never get rid of it, but I know it will go to someone who will take care of it and enjoy it as much as I had   If this listing gets pulled again email us directly by clicking here and we will just deal directly for you.
