This Cinepro amp has all the power and versatility for your needs. At the flip of a switch it can be six, five, four, or three channels. The Cinepro 3K6 was brought out for proffesional use and famous people like Oprah Winfrey and Arnold Schwartzenhagar purchased them. The Cinepro comes with factory selectable voltage. This unit happens to be a 240 volt hot rod ordered by my father. It is in excelent condition and has not much use. My father became ill not long after he purchased it. He passed away a year ago and it has been sitting on the shelf. The amp can be converted to 120V with the instructions I am providing. These instructions were provided to me by Gus at Cinepro, the main tech. I highly recommend keeping the unit 240 volt. First off it runs much cooler so the onboard fan never comes on. Second it draws less current so 12 guage wire is all you need. If it is 120 volt you should feed it with 10 guage minimum. Finally the output is increased therefore considerably more headroom. I can not imagine sending this amp into clip mode! Here are some output figures provided for the diffrence from 120 volts to 240 volt. 120 volt 350wpc @ 8ohm or 500wpc @ 4ohm x 6 channels. 240 volt 450wpc @ 8ohm or 640wpc @ 4ohm x 6 channels. Clipping figures are: 120 volt 405wpc @ 8 ohm or 790wpc @ 4 ohm x 6 channels. 240 volts 520wpc @ 8 ohm or 1015wpc @ 4 ohm. As you can see, at 240 volt operation, if you are driving 4 ohm speakers 1015wpc versus 790wpc is 225wpc or 30% more output before clipping!!! This amp will be the bright point of any home theater system. I do not have the original box but I have a lot of experience in shipping heavy items. This amp weighs in at a heafty 75 pounds. Included is the manual, some miscellaneous reviews, and the dual banana jacks. One of the bannana jacks is goofed up but they are standard and easy to find. Also one of the potentiometers, center channel output, makes a scratchy noise when adjusting. I think a little contact cleaner would solve that. All six channels work perfectly. Also I have a 240volt inline remote control switch box that I will throw in the box. Please see the pictures and note the excellent condition of this fine peice of gear.
