Description
Hello, and many Thanks to all the users that helped us make it to our 9th year anniversary here on ebaY! Before you bid, we would just like to state that our feedback rating was 99.4% positive before ebaY implemented their new feedback policy. You are bidding on 1 - Vintage Harman Kardon Citation II 120 watt Stereophonic Audiophile Amplifier with all Tubes including 6550 or KT88 & the Original Owners Operating Manual & Schematic. I've added photos of the tubes on 6/24. Condition is very nice, with only some light scuffs and scrapes on the transformers (no dents or rust), and one of the rear feet (grommets) is missing. The face plate is also very good with only some very minor wear. I received this from the original owner's son, and as far as he knew there were no mods, but the rear does not have a small meter I've seen on other units. There are two small jacks in it's place. (see photo). Tubes included are 6- 12BY7A Intermatic (all are in Original HK boxes), and 2- Genalex KT88, 1- Harman Kardon 6550, and 1- Tung Sol 6550. All are in Original Genalex KT-88 boxes. The tube boxes are marked 1-10, with the corresponding numbers labeled at each tube socket with a paper label. Among the schematic sheets, there are diagrams for: Electrolytic mtg bracket, (pictorail 1) Terminal boards (pictorail 3) Chassis assembly (pictorial 4) Preliminary chassis wiring (pictorial 5) Harness installation (pictorial 6) Assembly of Electrolytic bracket to chassis (pictorial 7) Terminal board installation (pictorial 8) Citation II response curve chart The power rating and build quality of this amp is very similar to the McIntosh MC275. A Classic piece of Audiophile equipment from the early 1960's. I'd love to keep it, but we're moving and I have hundreds of pieces of Vintage equipment, and I won't have room for it all. I cannot take a credit card for this at the present time, so please bid accordingly. I am also currently selling a pair of McIntosh MC30 amplifiers, as well as a Sansui G-8000 Receiver, as well as much more. Measures approx. 16.5"W x 12"D x 8.75"H. Please look at the photos, ask for more if you need them, and always ask questions before buying. All Electronics are sold as-is where-is due to their delicate nature. No refunds or exchanges. No Exceptions. No expressed guarantee unless otherwise noted. Payment info: Buyer pays by M/O, Check, Visa, M/C, or Discover for immediate shipping. No credit cards under $20.00 totals (not including shipping) please, the fees are killing us! I do not accept PayPal payments of any kind, only credit cards through my own merchant account. Due to the high cost of PayPal & Credit Card fees, we will only take a M/O or other pre-approved form of payment from overseas & Canada. Personal checks within the US need a minimum of 10 days to clear. There will be a $30.00 fee for any returned or bounced checks. Pick-up items must be pre-paid, or a cash or money order presented at time of pick-up, NO Checks for pick-ups. Shipping info: Byer pays $30.00 shipping within the lower 48 States.
