It is known as the best metal detector that can discriminate between soil conditions in order to find the type of metal you are looking for INCLUDING GOLD. This is the same type of unit used in Kansas that found meteors in the middle of open crop fields. Simply do a web search for the stories concerning those finds.   The 12 meter coil is sold from retailers without a frame. I can pass on to you the easy instructions they suggested for constructing a non-conductive frame. The frame I built can be taken apart to some degree, but would be impractical to ship. You are welcome to have the frame for free if you pick it up (as opposed to wanting it shipped).   Here is a cost break-down if you were to buy these items “on sale”, from a retailer: $6,900.00,  - the brain, case, harness, 14” coil, 1 meter x 1 meter coil and Lt Wt headphones.     $400.00,  - 12 meter coil for searching around 40’ down. ------------------------------------------------------ So from a retailer, it would be $7,300.00  Plus shipping costs and insurance.   My unit is virtually new.
