MARANTZ 2325 Restored MINT CONDITION Stereo Receiver *** Fully Serviced - Mint Condition - Vintage Beauty*** Start Price USD 0.99 Current Price USD 560.00 Time Left - Bid Count 15 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Saturday, September 06, 2008 End Time Saturday, September 13, 2008 Location Portland, OR See more about 'MARANTZ 2325 Restored MINT CONDITION Stereo Receiver' Description MARANTZ 2325 125 rms WATTS Per Channel POWERHOUSE Vintage Stereo Receiver This receiver has just come back from Portland's most reputable electronic's service center who is an authorized Marantz Premier Service Center.  Nothing was wrong with the unit except that a couple of lamps needed to be replaced.  However, I had them do a complete and thorough inspection and cleaning of the entire unit including all controls, switches, chassis, terminals, etc.  I also had them test all the functions and controls and everything passed with flying colors.  Every input, output, and operations tested great.  Every light, every control, every function works great.  This unit is in amazing condition.  It is very very clean without any significant flaws.  There is one very light ding on the lower left corner.  This is the worst ding on the unit and I took a close up in the last photo.  It is very minor and only seen if you get up very close to the unit.  There are a few other tiny scratches on the unit but nothing on the face of the unit.  Again, the worst ding is shown in the photo and even it is very minor.  The only functional flaw on this unit is the main speaker button sometimes sticks slightly.  It works perfectly fine but once in a while is slightly slow to pop out.  Again, only a very minor flaw but I insist on mentioning everything that might concern a picky collector.  This unit was in fantastic condition to start with and then been thoroughly cleaned, lubed, tuned, inspected and gone through with a fine tooth comb.  Yes, this unit is guaranteed.  Yes, it has been thoroughly serviced.  Yes, it is 100% functional.  Yes, it is possibly the best condition Marantz 2325 you have seen.  Yes, it has years and years of life in it and will probably last longer than you or I.  This model is regarded by many to be the best Marantz ever made.  This unit was the high end of mainstream audio in 1974.  It was referred to as "The King of Kong".  Very powerful, very full, very wide range of sound.  Please be reminded that this unit is very heavy.  I have included a flat rate shipping cost to be fair to all bidders.  Most likely, the actual shipping cost will be higher but I will not increase the shipping cost to you if that is the case.  This flat rate shipping cost includes all packing materials for shipment to the continental U.S.  Insurance will be included.  I have shipped over 20 receivers in the past 2 years and every single receiver arrived to the buyer without any shipping damage.  The receiver will be packaged using far more packing material than needed to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.  However, insurance will be included in case of some unforeseen damage.  The item may also be picked up locally in Portland Oregon.    Thanks to classic audio dot com for the following information and specs. http://www.classic-audio.com/marantz/2325.html   Place a Bid!
