A Micro-Seiki BL-51 belt-drive turntable, with a Micro-Seiki CF-1 lightweight carbon fiber tonearm, a Shure V15Vmr cartridge (needs new stylus), and a Thorens tonearm lift mechanism. This table is dead quiet, has rock-solid speed, and has a superior, top-of-the-line carbon fiber tonearm. This combination is truly fantastic - a very high-end sound that rivals turntables costing thousands of dollars. I stored the turntable away about a year ago when the Shure V15 stylus snapped off, and it was working perfectly then. I just recently tested the speed, and it appears in perfect working order, although I do not have a stylus to play-test the turntable. I recently moved to all-digital music, so it is with a good deal of sadness that I am selling this fantastic turntable. The CF-1 tonearm was Micro-Seiki's top of the line tonearm at the time, and is a perfect match for the incredible Shure V15 cartridge. Also included are a Micro-Seiki strobe speed measure and stylus overhang tool. In addition, the turntable has a Thorens arm-lift installed, which will automatically lift the tonearm at the end of the LP. This lift can be removed, as it is fastened with double-sided carpet tape.The dust cover has some scratches and clouding. I used the turntable without the dustcover since I preferred the look of the beautiful table, but scratches and clouding can easily be removed with some plastic polish (available at any auto parts store) and a bit of elbow grease.The turntable will be shipped securely in the original shipping box, and original manuals for both the turntable and tonearm, along with mounting template, will be included.
