Dish Network ViP722 DVR Satellite Installtaion TV1/TV2 Agile Output In the past, the Agile modulated (Home Distribution) output of our dual-tuner, two-TV receivers (for example, DISH Player-DVRs 522, 625, and 942) only provided a modulated channel for TV2 program viewing to one or more distant TVs. The ViP722 DVR dual-tuner, two-TV receivers have a TV1/TV2 Agile modulated output (Home Distribution output) so viewers at the distant location(s) can choose between two modulated channels to view either TV1 orTV2 programming. While in Dual Mode, these distant viewers can tune to either television channel to watch TV1’s programming or TV2’s programming. This capability is only useful in Dual Mode because in Single Mode, everyone watches the same (TV1) programming anyway (when Shared View is Enabled). SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS When the TV1 Agile out setting is enabled, content playing on TV1 can be viewed from the TV2 location just by changing the TV channel. Enabling the TV1 output may not be suitable for households with children and restricted content. You may choose to rely on the V-Chip technology and settings in the individual TV to prevent viewing of inappropriate programming. To control TV1 from a distance, a TV1 UHF Pro remote is needed. The remote key used is included in the replacement remote control kit. ENABLING THE FEATURE TV1 Agile modulated channel viewing is controlled within the receiver’s Modulator Setup screen by pressing MENU on the remote control, selecting System Setup, Installation, then Modulator Setup. The TV1 channel must be: In the same range (Air or Cable) as TV2. At least two channels away from TV2’s channel (one channel in between). Off is the default setting for TV1 Agile Out. To view TV1 programming using the Agile modulated output, change the TV1 Out setting to Air or Cable, and select a channel (see image and bullet above). If a password has been set up and the receiver is locked, a password will be required to enable TV1 Agile modulated channel viewing. Requiring a password when setting up this feature prevents TV2 viewers from accessing TV1 programming. The TV1 Agile Out setting for the ViP222 is separate from the RF Channel (3/4 output) setting. HD Channel Mapdown The addition of HD icons and Mapdown of HD channels will make it easier to identify and locate HD channels. Similar to local channels, HD channels will be mapped down in the electronic program guide to a location adjacent to the equivalent SD channel. An “HD” icon will now appear in the EPG and other locations to help identify HD channels. NOTE: Only if you Buy It Now you will get the accessories if you make offer you will not get the accessories.
