THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUBMISSION.   ''im writing in regards to the fusion fca-4000d. all i can say is "oh my god".this amp is the most powerful amp i have owned to date and is absolutely sick!i have collected and searched for many old school goodies and nothing can touch this piece.its easy on the electrical,and will blow your speakers apart at the seams with ease if not used properly.im currenty competing for my first year,and i probably gained 10db on my adire brahmas.when first adjusting this amp,i had to get out of my truck,because it was shaking the fillings out of my teeth,and literally felt like a swallowed a handful of golf balls.and this is only using a good sub.i cant imagine this amp at.3 ohms,burped with awesome subs with the right box.this amp is absolutely the best piece of car audio history i have owned and have no plans on letting it go.''   SOUNDS GOOD TO ME!   this is a rare find to say the least! this amp was only made for fusion competitors and that is where i got mine from. there were only 35 or so made and it was definately under 50 total. they were 3500.00 and are worth every penny. where are you going to find an amp to do over 8000 watts for 3500???????? this is the FUSION 2005 COMPETITION 4000D WITH AN RMS WATTAGE OF 4000 BUT HAS BEEN TESTED TO DO OVER 8000 WATTS AT LOW IMPEADANCES. THIS BAD BOY IS 44'' LONG AND WEIGHS A TON. it was barely used in a fusion demo van just for show purposes and it might have 20 hours of use on it. it comes in the coffin case as shown and WILL BE PROFESSIONALLY PACKED FOR SAFE TRAVEL! it has dual 0-gauge power and grounds and the power supply is to die for. LOOK AT THOSE HUGE HEAVY WOUNDED TORROID COILS and the neatest part about this amp is the very expensive cooling fins on the mosfets. they have 6 huge fins to dissipate heat better and are very expensive. i have never seen them in another amp. i heard this amp on 4 jbl comp 15's and it did over 173.6 db and the amp was half-way up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this amp should hit over 180 with the right sub-setup. here are some specs::: FCA-4000D 1 Channel D-Class Amplifier4000 WattsCEA 2006 Rated Serious car audio competition requires high power and FUSION now delivers you the ability to create power to the extreme. It gained 2.1 dB from 1.2 to 0.6 ohms and 1.5 dB from 0.6 ohms to 0.3 ohms.Now-The measured output at 0.6 ohms DCR:99 VAC – 69 Amps1.4 ohms w/ box rise6831 wattsThe measured output at 0.3 ohms DCR:90 VAC – 89.6 Amps1.0 ohms w/ box rise8064 wattsI was unable to measure the input current required.
