This drive gives you up to 305 hours of video recording and has fluid dynamic bearings that gives it a long life and quiet smooth running operation. It also includes a lifetime subscription to the ReplayTV channel guide (A $299 value).  The ReplayTV case has a small 1 inch ding (depression) on the top back right corner from something that was sitting on top of it, but this ding in no way affects the performance of the unit. If it weren't for this minor cosmetic flaw, the unit would have been labeled as MINT condition.   All you need to get up and running quickly is right here. Every possible cable, connector and instruction document is included in this auction.  This means you don’t have to hunt and search the internet, Radio Shack or buy the missing items on ebay to get the unit up and running like on some other auctions.  I’ve even included some extra items (see list below) that aren’t included with a new ReplayTV 5040.  The best part is this unit does things a Tivo can't do and once you pay for this auction YOU ARE DONE.  There will never be any monthly fees or add-ons like if you had a Tivo.
