SHARP GF-9494 Classic Boombox Retro Ghetto Blaster 80s This is the famous classic SHARP GF-9494 boombox in nice cosmetic condition and perfect working order. This model in this condition is rarely seen on ebay. It is made in Japan. The dimension of this box is approximately 22 X12 X 5 inches. Its net weight is 18 lbx unpacked. Thsre is no distortion as the volume increases. It can pick up radio stations clearly with out any problem. FM stereo light is on when FM stations is located. The tape deck can playback normally at correct and stable speed. FF/REW, PAUSE, STOP, EJECT function work normally. Tape deck door opens and closes smoothly. APLD works perfectly. The box is in nice condition too. There is no crack or dent to the case and the back panel is also very clean, so is the battery compartment. Nothing is missing from this unit and everything is original. No knob is stuck. All switches move smoothly (absolutely no stuck) and switches to other modes smoothly, both up and down. Both antennas are original and straight. Both VU meters works great, and they both light up when I press the METER/LIGHT control switch. AC power cord is inclued. There is a few tiny specs of ware ont he case, especially above the VU meters (as you can see in the pictures) but nothing serious. It must hae been taken good care of over so many years. I will pack it tight with either styrofoam, peanuts, bubble wrap, the good tape you know bullet proof for safe delivery. Shippment will be via Canada post.
