First off is one of my favorite - often called a "Space Helmet" calculator.  Both RCA and Garrett created calculators that had shields that rotated out of view to access the calculator.  Most of these models also turned on the calculator when the shield was fully opened.  Some models had a switch on the back to turn it on instead.
