Serial Number H608986. This radio is part of a large Museum Quality collection of Sony ICs and CRFs which I have been collectng for 15 years. Extra dial lites, instruction manual (substantial!), earphone, the cover over the coaxial antenna connector, even the pins for the antenna connections are included with the radio.A factory service manual is also included. The original bill of sale is included, dated April 8, 1983 when the radio was sold for $775.00.  The only reason I am not calling this radio New in Box is that I have used this radio because it works so well. Those of you who know this radio know why I enjoyed it. There isn't much to say about this radio, other than it is as good as a new radio as you will find. It works on all bands. There are NO scratchy controls and switches. As you can see the battery compartment is perfect. I used it on the built in AC supply. The antenna is straight and perfect, never repaired. I took some time to look for imperfections. The only one I found is a VERY small lite scratch in the upper right hand corner. There is a picture of it here, but it is so insignificant that I am not sure you can even see it.  I will challenge anyone to find a 6800W Orange in better condition. If you have one in an unopened box, you win! A word about shipping. The radio weighs 18lbs. I do NOT make any money on shipping. However, the cost of shipping is what it is and it certainly is more expensive that it used to be. Packing material and boxes may be part of shipping. Since this is a delacate instrument I will ship according to your specifications. I do not have time to calculate shipping for everyone.
