Description
VERY NICE SANSUI G-9000 You are looking at a very nice Sansui G-9000 "Monster Receiver."  The laminate is in very good shape w/no tears.  The faceplate had scratches on top but I got most of them out by re-brushing it.  There are still a couple of VERY small nicks that show up.  You might still find a light scratch but believe me it looks MUCH nicer than it did.  The faceplate was actually the one thing that needed the most work cosmetically.  I had this unit gone over by a professional.  2 caps were replaced as well as the lights.  All lights work now and the unit sounds great since the caps were replaced. The power switch "CAP" was bent when it was shipped to me.  I could not locate one, so my tech straightened it and glued it.  It works fine, but I did want to note it.  I tried to take a close-up shot of it but it was very blurry.  It is only noticeable if you are right up at the receiver looking for it.  All the rest of the knobs are in very good shape.  This IS NOT a mint unit but it is VERY nice.  I would rate it cosmetically at an 8.5 out of 10 for it's age.  The important thing is the unit plays perfectly. I am not going into a long sales pitch on what all the Sansui G-9000 has.  People looking at this item already know what the unit is all about.  It is from the "Vintage Power Monster" days of the late 70's.  If you want to learn more about the unit then go to http://www.classicaudio.com/value/san/G9000.html and you can see all it offers.  Sansui made a great product in the late 70's.  I bought a few of them and have another one on the way.  I like the Sansui line.  This product is being listed locally as well.  I reserve the right to remove this item if sold locally.  The listing is for 5 days so get it if you want it. WARRANTY INFORMATION This receiver is 30 years old and is sold "AS IS."  I will guarantee it to not be "DOA" on delivery, as I do all my items unless otherwise noted.  This does not cover shipping damage as that is an insurance claim through the shipper.  This item will be professionally packaged and shipped via UPS.  You are welcome to pick it up and save shipping.  I highly recommend this.  The package WILL BE insured when shipped.  I try to ship between 2-3 business days after the auction ends.  The only way it would be any later than this is if I am out of town for my regular business. Payment Options I accept Paypal, Credit Card, or U.S. Post Money orders.  If you want to send a cashier's check then you must be willing to wait for it to clear before the item is shipped.  My preferred payment method is with credit card through my office.  I am a Point of Sale dealer to the Restaurant Industry so we accept credit cards at my business.  I do get a lower rate that way.  Other Items Available I have following items listed as well:  Pioneer SX-1250 (Mint Condition)  Teac A6100 MKII Reel to Reel (Excellent shape)  Akai GX-4000D Reel to Reel (Very good shape)  Yamaha Natural Sound M-80 250 RMS per channel (MINT CONDITION) Thank you for looking and happy bidding.  Please note, the shipping rate includes insurance and is only for the lower 48 states.  I will not ship this item to anywhere else but the lower 48 states.  Please don't ask.Sept 8: The Yamaha M-80 is sold.  All other items are available including this one.
