VINTAGE TEAC A6100 A-6100 MASTER RECORDING REEL TO REEL Start Price USD 450.00 Current Price USD 450.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Saturday, September 06, 2008 End Time Thursday, September 11, 2008 Location Morristown, Tennessee See more about 'VINTAGE TEAC A6100 A-6100 MASTER RECORDING REEL TO REEL' Description TEAC A6100 MK II REEL TO REEL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION Up for bid is a very nice Reel to Reel.  The Teac A6100 MK II was referred to as a "MASTERING RECORDER" and included "SIMUL-SYNC."  Simul sync is the ability to record on a 1 track and listen to another.  This became the basis for all modern day overdubbing technologies.  This unit originally sold for $1450.00.  This item offers both 2 and 4 track playback heads.  In picture number 5 you will see the one cosmetic flaw on the back left corner.  It apparently got hit there in it's past.  This unit has been gone over and works perfectly.    The meter lights work, the aluminum front is in excellent condition w/no major flaws.  There are a couple of small places but it is excellent for a unit of this age. The device handles 7 and 10 1/2" reels and come with brand new after market Nab hubs for 10 1/2" reels.  It operates at 7 1/2 and 15 IPS.  This is truly a class reel to reel. WARRANTY INFORMATION This receiver is 30+ years old and is sold "AS IS."  I will guarantee it to not be "DOA" on delivery, as I do all my items unless otherwise noted.  This does not cover shipping damage as that is an insurance claim through the shipper.  This item will be professionally packaged and shipped via UPS.  You are welcome to pick it up and save shipping.  I highly recommend this.  The package WILL BE insured when shipped.  I try to ship between 2-3 business days after the auction ends.  The only way it would be any later than this is if I am out of town for my regular business.
